As the season goes on, it is inevitable that there will be promotions within the Yankee minor league farm system, as well as promotions by a few to the show. I have decided that every couple weeks, I will keep you, the reader, updated with how the top prospects are performing statistically. Please be aware that just because the player is listed below, does not necessarily mean that the player is a top prospect in the farm system. When looking at the Yankees minor league affiliates page, they have listed out the top players statistically across all minor league levels. I have decided to share this with you on one page in a list form.  This list will continue to update as the season progresses, and will continue to change as players move around. PLEASE NOTE: The stats listed are as of 4:00pm on May 4, 2010.

Looks like the Yanks are not going to give Girardi a new contract until after the world series.

YANKEE FACT

06/10/2011 - On May 8, 1925, the Yankees Everett Scott sat out a game against the St. Louis Brown, ending his Major League record of 1,307 consecutive games played. Just three weeks later, Scott's teammate Lou Gehrig began a streak of 2,130 straight games that would break Scott's record and stand for decades.
