According to Mark Feinsand of the Daily News, he reports that Andy Pettitte is ahead of schedule!!
Andy Pettitte is about a week ahead of schedule, but the lefty knows he won’t be returning from the disabled list until the Yankees say he’s ready. Still, Pettitte was very encouraged after Sunday’s throwing session.
“Obviously they’re going to say let’s see how I feel (Monday), but I don’t think there’s any way it’s going to bother me,” Pettitte said.
