Tonight’s lineup – Yankees vs Royals (08/14/10)
Nick Swisher is back tonight, playing in right field, after sitting out last night’s game. Swisher was out of the lineup yesterday, due too extreme heat in Kansas City, which the heat-index reached over 100 degrees. Girardi took Swisher out in the 9th inning, on Thursday night, because of the heat, and didn’t want Swisher to suffer from heat exhaustion.
Alex Rodriguez is DHing tonight, and Curtis Granderson is back to his familiar spot in the lineup, batting 7th, after batting 2nd the previous two games.
Ramiro Pena will be replacing A-Rod, at the hot-corner.
