The Yankees are back in the Bronx, after a 6 game road trip which started in Toronto and ended in Chicago. After losing the first series against the Blue Jays (two games out of three), the Yankees went into U.S. Cellular Field, taking two out of three from the White Sox over the weekend.
After winning the rubber-game yesterday, Ivan Nova picks up his first career win with the Yankees.
The last time the Bombers face the Athletics was back in July, at Oakland Coliseum, where the Bombers took all five games from the A’s.
