ESPN.com is reporting that Alex Rodriguez is expected to return to the Yankees lineup this Sunday against the Toronto Blue Jays in the Bronx. That will be his first opportunity to come off of the disabled list.
In his absence, the Yankees have used Eduardo Nunez and Ramiro Pena at third base. Rodriguez has been out with a calf injury since August 21, and has not played in a full game since August 15.
On the season, A-Rod is hitting .265, with 21 home runs, and 97 RBI. If he comes back strong, he will end the 2010 season with his 13th consecutive 100+ RBI season.
