Mark Teixeira puts a dent in his April batting slump slamming 3 home runs  during a Saturday, May 8th game against the Boston Red Sox. Adding fuel to his May firestorm, Teixeira went 4-for-6 with 5 RBI’s. To top it all, he became the only Yankee to hit 3 home runs in a single game against the Bosox, since Lou Gehrig did over 80 years ago (June 23, 1927). The School of the Hard Knocks: Every 3 series I will be grading (A+ – F) each active player on the Yankees Roster.
