On Wednesday, C.C. Sabathia continued his dominance over the Orioles in the Yankees 8-3 win. Though slightly struggling with his command throughout the game, C.C. allowed three runs on 11 hits over 7 2/3 innings in Baltimore. In 15 career starts against the Orioles, Sabathia is 10-1 with a 2.62 ERA. This is by far the best record he has against any team in the American League East. According to an AP report, a baseball official says Josh Beckett has signed a $68-year contract extension with the Boston Red Sox that runs through the end of the 2014 season. The official spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity because the deal was not scheduled to be announced until later Monday.
